MOSSES AND COCO BASKET LINERS

About Basket Liners:

Liners are sold separately. We recommend the coco fiber liners, a natural material, which in most cases, are pre-formed to fit the shape of the planters and baskets that we carry. Simply drop them in, pour in the soil, and begin planting! These liners do not break down as quickly as moss and should last more than one season. They allow water to drain freely, but are more water retentive than moss (so you don't have to water as often)! The textural contrast brings out the lovely curves and lines of the planters.

For those of you who like the "moss" look, try lining the planter with a thin layer of loose moss and place the coco liner on the inside. We also carry compressed moss basket liners, green moss, bulk sheet moss, and coco liner replacements. Try the Rain Mats to help retain moisture in the soil.

Compressed Moss Liners

The moss look is now as simple as moistening, positioning in the basket, and allowing the moss to expand. Then plant! No more working with loose wet moss. Expands to approximately 1/2" to 3/4" thick and holds about 20 times its own weight in water. Sphagnum moss. ( Packaging may vary from picture.)

Green Moss

Attractive green color and long decorative strands. An excellent liner for floral arrangements and baskets. Loose moss.

Floral Sheet Moss

Large, flat sheets of emerald green moss, 1/2" to 1" thickness.

Great for window box hayracks or larger planters.

Coco Roll

Bulk roll of coco lining for baskets, window hayracks and free-standing planters. Cut to fit containers of any size. Unlike mosses, this lining material should last more than one season.

Rain Mats

Place mats in the root zone of containers to reduce watering to as little as every 7 to 10 days. They hold moisture in the soil and slowly release traces of potassium, not sodium (salt).

Rain Mat Roll

It's suggested you identify the particular basket or planter in the

Our liners should fit other containers with the same dimensions.

Pre-formed Moss Liners for Living Wreath Rings

Same look and concept as the compressed moss liners for baskets (pictured above) except try these easy to use, 3-piece compressed, sphagnum moss liners for living wreath rings. Spray with water to soften and expand. These are pre-formed with just the right amount of moss, sized to fit our living wreath rings. Natural straw color. Holds moisture.
